PRODUCTION
In order to improve and expand the range of services offered to its customers, D.R. Ferroviaria Italia has developed a new manufacturing plant dedicated to the production of railway turnouts , including all related components.
D.R. Ferroviaria Italia specializes in the design and installation of turnout layouts, junctions, crossovers, and special turnouts, aimed at optimizing space within industrial facilities and private sidings. A dedicated Technical Office provides consultancy services to companies, developing—using CAD/CAM—the switch and crossing assemblies (S&C) that best meet the customer’s needs.
In order to guarantee the highest level of product quality and reliability, every single stage of the production process is subject to rigorous quality checks and final testing.
Supply of railway materials
The flexibility of its production organization and the professionalism of its workforce—within a compact-sized company—enable it to meet customer demand with high quality standards and short lead times. The company also markets sleepers (ties), pads/spacers, fastening systems, Vignoles rails and Burback rails , anchorage systems, and collaborates with major players at both national and international level, including RFI.
Railway track construction
Our company has a large warehouse for the supply of all railway materials, including:
D.R. Ferroviaria Italia’s fabrication (steelwork) department manufactures energy-absorbing buffer stops, standard FS models, road adaptation frames (for level-crossing/road interface works), tie-rod assemblies, turnout locking/retaining devices, and all electro-welded components required for special productions.
